			The Iodine Literary Conference is bringing the publishers to the writers, in order to provide more meaningful feedback beyond the standard query-by-mail submission process. Please join us for a literary party, and the one-on-one manuscript critiques as well. All events take place within the historic district, everything within walking distance.

			>Friday Evening, January 26 Literary reception hosted by Firehouse Books, 5:30pm Firehouse Books in historic downtown Beaufort is expanding its selection of small press books. Writers, readers, local authors, agents and press representatives will attend this free-to-the public reception, to enjoy and explore the changes in the literary marketplace, the value of small press books, food, books and readings by Lowcountry authors.

				>Saturday January 27 Manuscript Critiques--deadline for participation was Nov. 10th Writers will meet with a press representative or literary agent one-on-one for a manuscript critique geared towards helping them publish their book-length work. The manuscript critique sessions on Saturday are full & closed.
